Installation

  1. Click Download for Windows above. The .exe will save to your Downloads folder.
  2. Double-click the file. Windows SmartScreen may show a warning because the build is unsigned during private beta — click More info → Run anyway. (Code signing certificate is on the post-beta roadmap.)
  3. Follow the Inno Setup wizard. Default install location is %LocalAppData%\BackstageAI.
  4. On first launch, you'll be asked to sign in with the email that received your beta invite. The app then downloads session models in the background (~30 seconds).

Verify integrity

Open PowerShell in your Downloads folder and run:

Get-FileHash BackstageAI_Setup_0.5.5-beta.exe -Algorithm SHA256

The hash should match the SHA-256 above.
